May 14, 2009. So here we find out what went down, two years ago when the timeline was reset. Naomi, of course, manipulated Curt into NOT killing himself because he's a sucker for any girl uttering the big "L" word. To be honest, I wasn't sure until I started planning these strips HOW she had stopped him...but I went back and read a lot of the old comics, and Curt is a total, TOTAL sucker for girls, or love, or sex, or whatever. It IS his blind spot. So then rather than a big speech, it was easy to decide she'd just throw herself at him. This is probably one of my most ambitious comics to date, art-wise. I really tried to go all out, so I hope it was worth the wait, because I definitely used the extra time! This was a really personal strip for me, so I really wanted it to turn out right.
